Niagara C-130s support Operation Toy Drop at Fort Bragg Published Dec. 12, 2011 By Tech. Sgt. Joseph McKee 914th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, NY. -- The 914th Airlift Wing here participated in the annual Operation Toy Drop over Fort Bragg, N.C., Dec.10. Operation Toy Drop is a week-long, philanthropic project where American and foreign paratroopers stationed at Fort Bragg contribute new, unwrapped toys to be distributed to local children's homes and social service agencies. The drop is a daytime, non-tactical airborne operation supervised by foreign military jumpmasters - a rare treat for participating U.S. Soldiers who relish the opportunity to earn a foreign nation's "jump wings". Started in 1998, 2011 marks the first year Operation Toy Drop goes national. Operation Toy Drop is now the largest multi-national airborne operation in the world. Click here to see the video.
