Alamo Wing host VA hospital patients, families

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas --  Master Sgt. Tony Wilks, 733rd Training Squadron deputy superintendent, speaks with patients from the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. About 40 patients and their families were guests for lunch courtesy of the 733rd TRS. "This luncheon is one of two annual events we host for VA patients," said Lt. Col. John Martino, 733rd TRS commander, "It's our way of 'giving back' to the community." The 733rd TRS is one of two C-5 Galaxy training squadrons assigned to the 433rd Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
