EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Aircrews and maintainers from the 482nd Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., participated in Combat Hammer, a week-long, air-to-ground weapons system evaluation program at Eglin AFB, Fla. The F-16-equipped unit put their flying skills to the test in air-to-air and air-to-ground missions to evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of combat air force weapon systems. The WSEP measures the fighter pilots skills in tactical delivery of precision guided munitions on realistic targets with air-to-air and surface-to-air defenses.
