An Air Force Reserve-sponsored racer assigned to the 931st Air Refueling Group took first place in one racing competition and runner-up in another category at the Professional Motorcycle Riders Association Series Race at Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, Okla., May 18.

Master Sgt. John Fitzpatrick, shop chief, Aircraft Structural Maintenance, 931st Maintenance Squadron, won the Pro ET class and took home a runner-up finish in the Super Comp 8.90 Index Class races.

Fitzpatrick has received sponsorship from the AFRC Recruiting Service for more than a year. In exchange for sponsorship, he provides advertizing space on his motorcycle and assists Air Force Reserve Recruiters at the races in which he competes.

"I really appreciate the support I receive from the Air Force Reserve throughout the year, and I'm proud to be able to help the recruiters while doing something I love," said Fitzpatrick.
