Operation Turkey Drop

Operation Turkey Drop is an annual event sponsored by the Pierce Military Business Alliance that delivers holiday meals to troops of all branches, to include the Reserve and National Guard, to Joint Base Lewis McChord. This event is a true team effort between people assigned to JBLM and the local community, resulting in thousands of holiday meals donated to troops in need.

JOINT BASE LEWIS-McCHORD, Wash. -- Operation Turkey Drop is an annual event sponsored by the Pierce Military and Business Alliance (PMBA) that brings together Puget Sound businesses to offer community help to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Volunteers raised cash and food donations that were distributed to troops of all service branches, to include the National Guard and Reserve Components.
