Executive Order 13756 authorizes a 1 percent across-the-board pay increase for federal employees and locality increases costing ~1.1 percent, for an average pay increase of 2.1 percent.

Adjusted pay rates were effective on the first day of the first applicable pay period beginning on or after Jan. 1, effective Jan. 8.

Employee pay raises vary based on current grade and locality pay areas, where 2.1 percent is the advertised average. Members should not expect equivalent pay raises across employment grades or geographic locations.
