Airman receives Purple Heart 8 years after injuries

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  Col. Jeffrey Macrander, 920th Rescue Wing commander, presents Tech. Sgt. Kellen Grogan, 920th Security Forces Squadron squad trainer, the certificate to accompany his Purple Heart medal at a commander's call March 3, 2013 at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. Grogan was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action March 19, 2005.
