August issue of Citizen Airman online

The August issue of Citizen Airman, official magazine of the Air Force Reserve, is now available on the web at http://www.citamn.afrc.af.mil/.

The printed version of the magazine is scheduled to come off the presses July 30 and be in the mail no later than Aug. 7.

Contents include feature stories on a pararescueman from Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., who was a member of an Air Force team that recently scaled Mount Everest; an Air Force Academy graduate who has returned to the school to lead her former cadet squadron; a mortician who has found her calling working at the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Office; a father and son who teamed up to work together for the first time during an exercise in Korea; the second in a four-part series of articles from the victim of a sexual assault; an effort by recruiters to revamp their highly productive Get1Now referral program; and a husband and wife who have written two children's books, with another one on the way, that are a big hit with children in Arizona.
