ISR units to activate, reorganize Published Sept. 6, 2013 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The secretary of the Air Force has announced several actions affecting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance units in Air Force Reserve Command. The Air Force will activate the 655th ISR Group at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The group will report to the command's 10th Air Force. In addition, the Air Force will activate five squadrons and transfer two others under the 655th ISRG. The 64th and 71st Intelligence Squadrons will be activated at Wright Patterson AFB. The 63rd IS at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. The 38th IS at Beale AFB, Calif. The 42nd IS at JB Langley-Eustis The 50th IS and 718th IS will be reassigned from the 940th Operations Group at Beale AFB. Four detachments will be activated to provide Reserve support to the 655th ISRG. Det. 1, 655th ISRG, Wright-Patterson AFB. Det. 2, 655th ISRG, Offutt AFB, Neb.
