Pilot talks career, education at local school Published Oct. 25, 2013 By Bryan Magaña 419th Fighter Wing Public Affairs` HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Lt. Col. Paul "Buster" Delmonte, 466th Fighter Squadron commander, answers questions during a presentation at Clinton Elementary School today. Delmonte visited the sixth-grade class as part of Hill AFB's "Heroes Reading" program, which sends Airmen to local schools to read, educate, and tell children about their experiences in the military. Delmonte, an Air Force reservist in the 419th Fighter Wing, told the students about his job, how he became a fighter pilot, and explained some of the high-tech gear pilots use in flight. He also talked about the importance of education in reaching their career goals.
