The December issue of Citizen Airman, official magazine of the Air Force Reserve, is available at http://www.citamn.afrc.af.mil/

This month's cover story focuses on a civil engineer who escaped the civil war in his native country of Sierra Leone, came to the United States with his family and joined the Air Force Reserve as a way of giving something back to his new, adopted country.
