April 2 is deadline to register for Air Force teen summer camps

Teen dependents of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members have until April 2 to sign up for the Air Force Teen Aviation, Teen Leadership and Space Camps offered by the Air Force Personnel Services Directorate.

A separate message will be sent out later regarding the 2014 AFR/ANG Teen Leadership Summits.

Each camp has different eligibility requirements. (See attachments). Eligible applicants include teen dependents of active duty military assigned to or living on an Air Force led/joint base installation, AF retired military, AF civilian employees and activated Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members.

Youth interested in applying for Teen Aviation Camp, Teen Leadership Camp, and Space Camp must complete the attached electronic Summer Camp Nomination Registration Form.

Teens will submit the package to Melissa Wesley, melissa.wesley@us.af.mil not later than April 2. Final selections for all camps will be announced by April 25. For camp specific questions, please contact the points of contact listed on the camp information sheets.

Airline and personally owned vehicle travel costs to each camp are the responsibility of the attendee. Lodging, meals and program cost will be centrally funded at no cost to the participant.
