Command announces top airfield operators

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., and Homestead ARB, Fla., landed most of the 2004 Air Force Reserve Command Airfield Operations awards.

Headquarters AFRC announced the awards April 8.

Dobbins’ 94th Operations Support Squadron picked up the air traffic control award. Squadron members won the following individual awards: Clarence Miller, air traffic control officer; David Seal, air traffic control enlisted manager; Courtney Seckner, air traffic control training achievement; and Stacy Free, terminal instrument procedures specialist.

Homestead’s 482nd OSS got the airfield management facility and weather awards. James Onoprienko was named the top airfield management supervisor.

The 452nd OSS at March ARB, Calif., received the airfield operations flight complex award, and Janice Smith was selected the top air traffic control watch supervisor.

Glenn Robinson of the 434th OSS, Grissom ARB, Ind., was chosen top air traffic controller.
