Gen. David E. Tanzi, AFRC vice commander, announced the command nominees March 21.The nominees by category include:Civilian firefighter -- James Covell, 94th Mission Support Group, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga.Military firefighter -- Staff Sgt. Barry E. Webster, 445th MSG, Wright-Patterson AFB, OhioCivilian fire officer -- James J. Kula, 440th MSG, Gen. Mitchell International Airport Air Reserve Station, Wis.Military fire officer -- Master Sgt. Jude Hodges, 482nd MSG, Homestead ARB, Fla.Stephen E. Check, 914th MSG, Niagara Falls IAP ARS, N.Y., is the command nominee for the firefighter heroism award.
