Air Force Reserve announces history awards Published April 27, 2009 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command's directorate of historical services selected 13 reservists for awards in the field of historical services, history and museums programs for 2008. Command officials announced the winners in April. Tech. Sgt. Angela M. Vazquez of the 403rd Wing, Keesler AFB, Miss., and Tech Sgt. John B. Snowman and Staff Sgt. Rachelle J. Weber of the 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, received awards for their wing history programs. Spirit of the Eagle Awards (Category II for Notable Contribution of Significance) went to the following people: - Lt. Col. Nancy M. Dye, Headquarters Air Mobility Command Historical Services, Scott AFB Ill., for the Individual Mobilization Augmentee Historian Force Development Guide; - Capt. Douglas N. Lantry, Headquarters Air Force Historical Services, Bolling AFB, D.C., for area of responsibility deployment ; - Capt. Manuel A. Sibert, Headquarters Air Force Historical Services, Bolling AFB, for AOR deployment; - Senior Master Sgt. Charles E. Newell, Headquarters U.S. Central Command Historical Services, MacDill AFB, Fla., for long-term tour of duty; - Master Sgt. George H. Goff, 927th Air Refueling Wing, MacDill AFB, for back-to-back AOR deployments; - Master Sgt. Jennifer E. Gordon, Headquarters USCENTCOM Historical Services, MacDill AFB, for long-term tour of duty; - Master Sgt. Brady A. Kiel, 932nd Airlift Wing, Scott AFB, for AOR deployment; - Master Sgt. Kenneth E.
