Charleston reservists fly C-17 mission

CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Pilots and loadmasters from the 315th Airlift Wing here flew a C-17 mission to Panama City, Panama, May 27.

In Panama, the Air Force Reserve Command crew picked up a U.S. Coast Guard Dolphin helicopter.

The next day the reservists delivered the helicopter to Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Fla., for maintenance.

The crew then continued to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to deliver humanitarian aid on the way to Afghanistan over Memorial Day weekend.
