Air Force Reserve presents Tour for the Troops concert

  • Published
On July 4, the Air Force Reserve will present a Tour for the Troops concert with the legendary rock band Styx performing at the CenturyTel Arena in Bossier City, La.

Billy Bretherton from the hit A&E television show "Billy the Exterminator" will emcee the event, which starts at 6 p.m.

To celebrate Independence Day and honor military people serving the nation at home and overseas, the Air Force Reserve is offering this concert free for all members of the armed forces and their immediate families.

The event is for the men and women stationed at Barksdale AFB, Fort Polk and other surrounding military installations.

Styx originated in Chicago and features Tommy Shaw, James "JY" Young, Lawrence Gowan, Chuck Panozzo, Todd Sucherman and Ricky Phillips. They are best known for chart-topping power ballads such as "Renegade," "Blue Collar Man" and "Too Much Time on My Hands."

Mr. Bretherton is a former member of the Air Force. As owner of the "zaniest pest removal company on the planet," he uses his crazy personality to tackle Louisiana's toughest pest problems.
