AF Reserve hosting human resources development council workshop this week Published Oct. 22, 2010 By Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command is hosting its biennial Human Resources Development Council workshop at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Hotel today through Wednesday. The three-day workshop will attract participants from Air Force Reserve units throughout the country and abroad. Some of the events will include a Women Airforce Service Pilots Panel, a Tuskegee Airman panel and various workshops focusing on leadership and career enhancements. Select wings from the various reserve units will be awarded the Gen. Joseph A. McNeil Award for Human Resource Development Excellence for their outstanding participation in HRDC. The purpose of HRDC is to advise commanders and make recommendations on topics related to its members. This event will provide an opportunity for HRDCs throughout AFRC to share ideas, benchmark practices, and further improve recruiting/retention, diversity and mentoring.
