Command picks top tactician Published March 30, 2012 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- A captain from Peterson AFB, Colo., is Air Force Reserve Command's tactician of the year for 2011. Capt. Jason S. Bertino of the 302nd Airlift Wing's 731st Airlift Squadron was cited for improving the Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures system. In addition working on the LAIRCM system, he authored an order that helps deploying Operation Enduring Freedom crews. The award recognizes a reservist who uses tactical assets well and makes major improvements in the development of tactical programs.
