OSHA Class
Jonathan Pennington, an instructor from Eastern Kentucky University's Occupational Training Institute and Education Center, explains the importance of properly fitted fall protection harnesses to students in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration 3110 Fall Protection course at McConnell Air Force Base, January 30. Pennington instructed 40 Airmen from the 931st and 22nd Maintenance Squadrons and the 184th and 22nd Civil Engineering Squadrons in a Total Force Initiative course sponsored by the 22nd Air Refueling Wing. Senior Airman Joshua Wheeler, a maintainer from the 22nd MXS, models a harness too large for someone with his body type to demonstrate the need for proper fitting.
During the three-day course, Pennington taught the Airmen about federal requirements associated fall protection for civili engineers and maintainers. (Air Force photo by Brannen Parrish)
