MARE exercise at Niagara

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y --  6/8/2013 - NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y - First responders from local, state and federal agencies took part in a major accident response exercise involving a simulated airplane crash near the airport runway June 8.

Joe Foucha, Niagara Falls ARS Fire Department chief of training, said this type of exercise allows the base to work with outside agencies to improve coordination and preparation in the event of an incident that may result in casualties.
