AC-130J Ghostrider

Airmen assigned to the 4th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron tow an AC-130J Ghostrider gunship after a wash at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The 4 SOAMXS is responsible for maintenance on the AC-130J, ensuring the gunship is always mission ready. The 919th Special Operations Wing is transitioning one of its warfighting missions to the AC-130J Ghostrider and relocating one of its flying squadrons and aircraft maintenance functions form Duke Field, Florida, to Hurlburt Field.
