Squadron innovation funds drive 3D runway surface scanning, re-creation effort

Bruce Nelson, with Battenkill Technologies, demonstrates his 3D laser carrier deck scanner on the runway at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. The 704th Test Group, Aerospace Survivability and Safety Office, at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, has received $23,000 as part of the Squadron Innovation Funds provided by the Air Force Materiel Command.
