William “Archer” Dana, 74th Fighter Squadron A-10C Thunderbolt II pilot, during an award ceremony, May 23, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Dana, along with his wingman, was alerted Aug. 14, 2017, by a joint terminal attack controller the enemy had breached friend lines in eight locations.
