14 IS finds its 'pot of gold,' discovers WWII vet

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Lt. Col. Dianne Hickey, 14th Intelligence Squadron commander, met World War II veteran John Johnson June 15, 2016 after learning about his connection to the 14th IS. Johnson was discovered after two years of historical research by the 14th IS as the unit tried to uncover its lineage.
