Maj. Michael Masuda, C-17 instructor pilot with the 313th Airlift Squadron, here at McChord Field, Wash., effortlessly finishes the Memphis in May Olympic Triathlon in Memphis, Tenn. May 19, where he also qualified for the U.S. National Championships for Olympic Triathlons. Whether at home or flying missions with the Reserve, Masuda maintains his fitness regimen and constantly trains to compete in Olympic-distance triathlons, which consist of a 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike, and 10-kilometer distance run.
