Citizen Airmen dominate 506th ESFS mission

KIRKUK REGIONAL AIR BASE, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Steven Baugher, 506th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron mobile patrol and listening post and observation post leader, keeps a watchful eye over the city of Kirkuk here Sept 2. Sergeant Baugher is one of many security forces Airmen deployed to ensure base defense. The 506th ESFS, the largest squadron on Kirkuk, comprises almost half of the 506th Air Expeditionary Group and includes both active-duty and reserve Airmen from 32 different home-station units. Sergeant Baugher is deployed from Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base Carswell Field, Texas and calls Abilene, Texas home. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Randi Flaugh)
