Operations Building dedicated in honor of Maj. LeRoy Homer

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio -- The 445th Airlift Wing dedicated its Operations Building Oct. 4, 2008, in honor of Maj. LeRoy W. Homer, Jr., a member of the wing from 1995 to 2000. Maj. Homer died Sept. 11, 2001, on board United Airlines Flight 93, when he was serving as the airplane’s first officer. The purpose of the building dedication is to honor Maj.
