Lessons about Afghan culture

Lt. Col. Joe Alcorn, an HH-60G Pave Hawk pilot, speaks to his son's 2nd grade class at Gemini Elementary in Melbourne Beach, Fla. Colonel Alcorn and other reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., spent four months in Afghanistan supporting joint operations. Colonel Alcorn showed the class images of an Afghan school he visited. The Afghani children received school supplies donated by the 2nd graders. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Rob Grande)
