Enhancing Allied Relations

Chief Master Sgt. James D. Riley, chief loadmaster with the Air Force Reserve’s 302nd Airlift Wing, listens to Group Captain Nimit Kraigratoke, deputy director, Special Task Division, Royal Thai Air Force discuss aerial firefighting in Thailand. Seven members of the 302 AW traveled to Don Muang Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand to provide expert training to RTAF members on safe and effective Modular Airborne Firefighting System operations. This event marks the first time the Air Force Reserve has sent delegates to train a foreign Air Force on use of the MAFFS equipment. Accompanying the Air Force Reserve contingent is Mr. David P. Stickler, leadplane and instructor pilot with the U.S. Forest Service. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jody L. Ritchie)
