Colonel LANCE A. AIUMOPAS

Colonel Aiumopas is the Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. He is the principal legal advisor to the AFRC Commander, directors, and principal staff members on matters involving military justice, ethics, environmental issues, labor and employment law, contracts, fiscal law, administrative law, and operations law. Colonel Aiumopas provides

functional oversight and professional guidance to over 200 active duty, reserve, and civilian attorneys and paralegals at 3 numbered air forces, 34 flying wings, 6 operating locations (OLs), and other subordinate units, providing legal services and advice to over 70,000 active duty, reserve, and civilian personnel. He also assists with the management of Category A and B programs for The Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

A Southern California native, Colonel Aiumopas received his commission via the JAG Corps Direct Appointment Program in 2001 and is licensed to practice law in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court.
