Ms. Myaleca R. Malone is the Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (HQ AFRC) Director, Small Business Program. She is responsible for managing the Small Business Program on behalf of the AFRC Commander and in support of the Department of Air Force Small Business Program. Through advocacy, policy and oversight, Ms. Malone is charged with promoting small business participation to the maximum extent practicable and building strong and enduring relationships with our small business industry partners.
Ms. Malone has more than 14 years within the acquisition career field. She is a former contracting officer and holds a Level III contracting and a National Contract Management Association Certified Federal Contract Manager certification. In addition, she recently achieved DoD Office of Small Business Program, Small Business Professional credential to further equip her to advocate for our small business industry partners.
In Fiscal Year 2022, the Department of Defense (DoD) selected Ms. Malone as the winner of the Revolutionary Leadership of the Year Award. This award was given to an individual DoD Small Business Professional who advocates for the inclusion of small business participation, responds to challenges with inventive solutions, brings innovation to the DoD through small business utilization and demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Malone served as the Small Business Professional at the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, 763d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron providing mission execution support to the Air Mobility Command and enterprise wide through the management of the squadron’s Small Business Program.
