MR. SHANNON BRETT “SKIPPER” CLARK

Mr. Shannon B. Clark is the Director of Analyses, Lessons Learned, and Air Force Continuous Improvement and Innovation (AF CI2) for Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. He is responsible for providing decision support and problem solving services to support Air Force Reserve combat ready forces. He also provides AF CI2 and Lessons Learned guidance, direction, and oversight to 3 numbered air forces, 35 wings, Air Reserve Personnel Center, 5 independent groups, and more than 69,000 Air Force Reserve personnel.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Clark was the Deputy Director of Analyses, Lessons Learned, and Air Force Continuous Improvement and Innovation (AF CI2) for Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins AFB. As deputy director, he focused on planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the directorate to achieve command strategic priorities, enterprise organizational goals and customer needs all in support of readiness at every level.

Mr. Clark began his military career in 1987 as a graduate of Air Force Basic Military Training and was commissioned in 2000 as a graduate of Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. He served over 26 years on Air Force active duty and the Air National Guard. He held a variety of positions as a KC-135 Instructor/Evaluator and Air Battle Manager mission aircrew commander. He deployed in support of Operations DESERT STORM, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM in addition to supporting ODYSSEY DAWN and UNIFIED PROTECTOR.
