Chief Master Sergeant ERIC M. ORNDOFF

Chief Master Sergeant Eric M. Orndoff is the Command First Sergeant, Functional Manager at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. In this role, he oversees the management and career development of over 500 First Sergeants and manages the special duty portfolio of over 1400 positions within the command. He provides guidance to 43 Command Chiefs to include deployment and contingency taskings. He is the command liaison to the First Sergeant Special Duty Manager and the advisor to the First Sergeant Academy. Additionally, he advises the MAJCOM Command Chief on matters concerning discipline, health, morale, welfare, professional development, and quality of life issues that impact over 70,000 military and civilian personnel.


Chief Orndoff entered the Air Force in May 1992 and graduated from the Personnel Apprentice course in June 1992. He served over 14 years on active duty working in various positions within the Personnel career field before transferring to the Air Force Reserve in 2006, where he has served at the wing and headquarters level within the Personnel, First Sergeant, and Military Training career fields, Prior to this assignment, Chief Orndoff served as Chief, HQ AFRC Technical Training Liaison, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
