Congress has passed several “by law” requirements and programs that come with a level of responsibility for Reserve Citizen Airmen and AFRC leaders. The intent of this video is to raise awareness of these programs.

  • Developing Self: Airman’s Foundational Competencies Category

    The Air Force has identified 24 Airman’s foundational competencies for all Airmen, these competencies are universally applicable to all Airmen and are categorized into four groups: Developing Self, Developing Others, Developing Ideas and Developing Organizations. Developing Self includes the following foundational competencies: accountability, perseverance, communication, decision making, information seeking, flexibility, resilience, initiative, and self-control.
  • Beating Bad Weather: Command announces indoor alternative to physical fitness assessment

    Lt. Gen. Richard Scobee, Air Force Reserve Command commander and chief of the Air Force Reserve, has approved an indoor alternative to the 1.5 mile run physical fitness assessment for Reserve Citizen Airmen.
