Xtreme Team member Lanalyne Hansend (left) reviews recruiting contacts with Tanya Nieves, the team lead. Nieves said her team is the first contact many recruits have with the Air Force Reserve. “We ask them if they’re interested in finding out how they can work a part-time job,” Nieves said. “If they say yes, we take their contact information and let them know someone will be in touch within a week.” (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. 5/30/2012 - HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Meet the Xtreme Team, a unique extension to Air Force Reserve recruiting efforts. Energetic and hard working, Xtreme Team members travel to events across the country to find recruits with those same qualities. Whether it's an air show, concert or monster truck rally, the Xtreme Team will likely be there. During the Open House and Air Show here May 26-27, the team picked up several hundred leads for the Reserve to consider.
