Heavy lift for a heavy lifter


7/14/2011 - CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti  -- The Marines got some needed heavy lift capability July 14 from an Air Force Reserve unit that specializes in transporting outsized cargo.
 
A C-5B crew from the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., delivered two Marine CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters to the Marine Heavy Lift Squadron 464 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The Marine unit is part of Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa and the helicopters are replacing two others at the base to maintain readiness and support operations in East Africa.
