3/30/2012 - ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The 9th Space Operations Squadron, Combat Operations Divison, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., is the 2011 recipient of the Air Force Reserve Command's Lessons Learned Excellence Award.

The space squadron is credited with developing requirements and inputs for nine global exercises, leading 70 integrated combat assessment trainings, and integrating the Joint Space Operations center with five combatant commands, capturing 115 lessons learned in the process.

The 9th SOPS will represent the command in the Air Force-level Gen. George C. Kenney Award for Lessons Learned competition.
