Pentagon ceremony recognizes 512th A&FR as best in AF Reserve

2/17/2012 - DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del.  -- The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs recognized the 512th Airlift Wing Airman and Family Readiness office Feb. 17, 2012, during a cermony at the Hall of Heroes inside the Pentagon. The Dover Air Force Base, Del., Reserve unit was selected as the best U.S. Air Force Reserve program in the Department of Defense. Holding the awards from left to right are 512th AF&R members Laura Coseglia, Tech. Sgts. Mariah Krass and Ivan Kobetz. Also pictured from left to right are Command Sgt. Maj. John D. Gipe, senior enlisted advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Maj. Gen. Richard A. Shook Jr., mobilization assistant to the Chief of the Air Force Reserve, David L. McGinnis, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, and retired Navy Vice Adm. Norb Ryan, president of the Military Offiers Association of America.
