Command announces financial management awards

1/13/2012 - ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command's financial management people learned in January who was the best in the command in 2011.
Maj. Thelma Jenkins of the 440th Airlift Wing, Pope Field, N.C., won three command awards. The awards are the Maj. Gen. Frank R. Faykes FM Comptroller of the Year award, the Robert B. Stuart Award of Excellence in FM and the outstanding contribution to FM and comptroller award (officer category).
Other command FM awards announced in a memorandum Jan. 12 are:
Financial analysis office - 403rd Wing, Keesler AFB, Miss.
Financial services office - 932nd AW, Scott AFB, Ill.
Financial management civilian (GS-9 and above) - Jeffrey McKeever, 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas
FM civilian (GS-8 and below) - Suzanne Stock, 943rd Rescue Group, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz.
FM officer - Capt. Lester Quade, 301st FW, NAS JRB Fort Worth
FM senior NCO - Master Sgt. Theresa Furbush, 301st FW, NAS JRB Fort Worth
FM NCO - Tech. Sgt. Christina Pospichal, 919th Special Operations Wing, Duke Field, Fla.
FM airman - Senior Airman Melinda Smith, 911th AW, Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa.
Resource advisor - Paul Olson, 943rd RQG, Davis-Monthan AFB
Non-acquisition cost analyst - Charles Holcombe, Headquarters AFRC/FM, Robins AFB
Outstanding contribution to FM and comptroller (civilian category) - Linda Shiflet, Headquarters AFRC, Robins AFB
