5/16/2011 - The Air Force Reserve's 910th Airlift Wing, the U.S. Coast Guard and more than 35 other organizations are participating in a multi-agency oil spill response exercise near the San Diego coast, May 11-12, 2011. The sea vessel, California Responder, pours a non-toxic green dye into the ocean to simulate a 1.5 million gallon oil spill as part of the event here, May 12, 2011. The 910th AW operates the Department of Defense's only large-area, fixed wing aerial spray capability and will spray a practice dispersant, actually water, onto the simulated oil spill as part of the response . Participants in the exercise returned to their various home stations on May 13, 2011. U.S. Air Force photo by Mr. Eric White
