Air Force declares F-35A ‘combat ready’

Reserve KC-10 crew refuels F-35s on return from England

A KC-10 Extender manned by a crew from the 70th Air Refueling Squadron departed Travis Air Force Base, California July 11, 2016, and traveled across the Atlantic to escort three F-35A Lightning II models back to the United States from England.
