  • Commander of Air Force Reserve Command
As we wrap up this year and get ready for 2015, I want to thank you for your incredible courage and commitment. You and your fellow Citizen Airmen have shown unfailing dedication to your families, communities and the mission this year.  Your service during these challenging times is both humbling and inspiring.

Our Air Force Reserve has much to be proud of this year. Our missions have been wide and varied. You served in Afghanistan, flew into hurricanes, struck ISIL targets in Syria, responded to the Ebola crisis in Africa, transported humanitarian supplies to Honduras, kept our space constellations flying, defended our networks and conducted countless other operations at home and abroad.  You continue to answer our nation's call. Every day, in air, space and cyberspace, you help our Air Force fly, flight and win!

As we move into this holiday season, please take the time to celebrate with your family and friends and thank them for their support. I need each of you to be a good wingman and look out for one another. For our deployed members, please know you are in our thoughts and we are eagerly awaiting your safe return. Every one of you is an important member of our Air Force Reserve family and vital to our team.

Whether you are at home or abroad, Barb and I send our warmest holiday greetings to you and your family. On behalf of your entire Air Force Reserve leadership team, we wish you and your families the very best in the coming New Year!
