Command announces command post award winners

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command announced its 2005 command and control award winners March 29.

The 433rd Airlift Wing, Lackland AFB, Texas, won two awards. Its command post was selected the best large command post, and Senior Airman Robert Huizar was named the top airman.

The best small command post award went to the 910th AW, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, and Master Sgt. Joseph Plesniak of the wing was chosen the outstanding senior NCO.

Tech. Sgt. Charles R. Short of the 919th Special Operations Wing, Duke Field, Fla., took the top NCO award.

Master Sgt. Brian McPherson of the Headquarters AFRC command center was picked as the headquarters command post controller of the year. (AFRC News Service)
