Citizen Airman Reservist Senior Airman Davey Brinkman (center), 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, was selected as the 2017 Space Coast Fire Chief's Association's Firefighter of the Year. Brinkman serves as a Firefighter/paramedic with the Rockledge Fire Station in Brevard County, Florida, and as a special mission aviator with the 920th RQW's 301st Rescue Squadron. Brinkman has been with the fire department for 10 years and during that time has demonstrated an exemplary level of service.
