Colonel Harold W. Linnean is the Commander, Air Force Reserve Command Recruiting Service (AFRCRS), Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. He serves as the advisor to the AFRC Commander, senior staff, and numbered air force and wing commanders on all matters relating to military recruiting and strategic marketing within the Air Force Reserve. The AFRCRS comprises of more than 450 military and civilian personnel in 44 main flight locations and numerous recruiting offices across the U.S. and abroad.
Prior to his current position, Colonel Linnean was the Director of Analyses, Lessons Learned, and Air Force Continuous Process Improvement (AF CPI) for Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. He provided decision support and problem-solving services to the AFRC commander and senior staff. Furthermore, Colonel Linnean provided AF CPI and Lessons Learned direction and oversight to 3 numbered air forces, 35 wings, Air Reserve Personnel Center, and more than 70,000 personnel.
Colonel Linnean entered the Air Force in 1995 after graduating from The Citadel’s Air Force Reserve Officer Training Commissioning program. His service included various operational and staff assignments, including duty as a cyberspace officer, executive officer, staff officer, and a recruiting officer. He successfully commanded a group and two squadrons, and completed three headquarters major command staff tours.
