Keeping the family tradition alive

Ramon Carpenter, a retired United States Naval aviator, signs the required paperwork after performing his grandson's commissioning oath. Master Sgt. David Barber, an officer accessions recruiter assigned to Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, served as Garren "Ridge" Belflower's recruiter. The oath took place at the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Belflower joins a long list of family members who have served in the United States military.
