ACE Solo Flight Program concludes at historic Tuskegee Airmen airfield

Cadre of the Air Force's Aviation-Character-Education (A.C.E.) Solo Flight Program take a photo with Lt. Gen. Richard M. Clark, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Virginia, who was their distinguished visitor in Tuskegee, Alabama. The general flew in to historic Moton Field, where Tuskegee Airmen trained in the 1940s, to share his Air Force experience with students and encourage them on their flight path of excellence. The A.C.E. Solo Flight Program, which began in 2018, is a unique, STEM-focused summer program designed to motivate and mentor minorities and women to pursue aerospace careers, with an emphasis on Air Force opportunities.
