Dale Stickrath, World War II 307th Bombardment Group veteran, trades stories with another veteran at the Red River Brewing Co. Shreveport, La., March 30, 2017. In 1942, 27 B-24 Liberators from the 307th Bombardment Group took part in one of the longest mass-raids of that era which earned them the name “The Long Rangers.” The now, 307th Bomb Wing celebrated their 75th Anniversary with alumni from wars such as World War II, Korean War, Vietnam and Operation Inherent Resolve.
