LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --
Maj. Gen. Mike Skinner, mobilization assistant to the commander of Air Education and Training Command, visited the 56th Fighter Wing and the 944th Fighter Wing here April 5-6.
During his orientation the general was introduced to missions at each wing, including aeromedical staging, explosive ordnance disposal, and pilot training. The general experienced the flying mission with Instructor Pilot, Capt. Adam Hafes, 308th Fighter Squadron.
"Luke trains some of the best pilots in the Air Force," said Skinner. "It is an honor to come here, see it first hand, and thank the fine men and women who do this work every day on behalf of General Rice and Lt. Gen. Stenner."
